I have a simple Vision:

Listen to You and make sure You are Heard

Protect rights of individuals and parents

Pass common sense legislation that reduces crime and protects our community.

If elected as your Representative for Texas House District 119, I would sponsor and support all legislation that allows for:

  1. Resources that focus on providing community benefits to our children (community centers, schools, etc).

  2. Resources designed to increase the pay and training of our police officers to ensure our community only has the best of the best.

  3. The removal of prosecutors that fail to do their jobs and prosecute criminals.

  4. Resources designed to tackle the open border crisis and reduce crime.

  5. Support small businesses so they can thrive and grow. Growth leads to more jobs and more competitive pay.

Our current Representative, Ms. Elizabeth Campos, was elected to serve us for two complete terms (four years). Here is how her four years have turned out:

  1. Ms. Campos failed to take meaningful action to lower property taxes.

  2. Ms. Campos is against school safety. She voted against a bill that set minimum security standards for our public schools and provided funding for mental health training. (H.B. 2)

  3. Ms. Campos is against safe communities. She voted against a bill that enhanced criminal penalties for people engaged in human smuggling. (H.B. 3)

  4. Ms. Campos is against parent choice and individual freedoms. During COVID-19, she supported government mandates forcing the closure of schools and masking our children. She also voted against school choice that would protect parents’ rights in deciding the educational needs of their children.

I have a simple Promise:

If elected, I will work harder for You than any District 119 representative before me and to make common-sense decisions.

I work HARD!

I’ve held a job since I was sixteen years old. I joined the United States Army at seventeen years old. I deployed to Iraq and then to Afghanistan, earning the Bronze Star Medal as a young Sergeant. I transitioned to the Army Reserves while I went to school to earn my law degree from the St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Following law school, I clerked for Judge Bert Richardson at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals for a year. After, I opened my law practice, Grable Grimshaw PLLC. I mainly focus on civil rights litigation where I file lawsuits to protect citizens that had their civil liberties violated by government agencies or employees.

I am also a First Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve where I am responsible for the wellbeing of my Soldiers within my command.

I work hard to provide for those that count on me including my family, my community, my clients, and those with whom I serve.

I look forward to the opportunity to work hard for those within my community.
